Dear parents/guardians,
My name is Mrs. Perlstrom and I am a student teacher in your child’s classroom. I will be here until October 31, 2008. We are going to be learning about the solar system over the next couple of weeks. I have created a blog on the solar system which contains information about the planets, sun, asteroids, comets, etc. It also contains links to kid friendly websites on the solar system. I have done this so I know what websites the students will be on and so I do not have to give them a long list of web addresses. It is a much more convenient way for the students to access information. All information placed on this blog has been put there by me.
I am also going to ask the students to comment on something they find interesting about the solar system. When they do this, they will only be posting their first and last initial. There is no identifying information on the blog to link it to _____________ School or your child.
Your child will not be expected to access this blog outside of school and will be supervised at all times when using the blog. Below I have provided the URL for my blog and I welcome you to browse through it. If you have any comments or concerns about this blog on the solar system please comment below or feel free to contact me during school hours.
